Energy Performance Certificates

Since the abolition of HIPs in May 2010, every home that is put on the market for sale in England and Wales now requires an EPC.

This has created an increase in new homes coming to the market due to the reduced cost for the seller. Supported by the Government, with millions of homes per year requiring an EPC, it doesn’t matter if house prices rise or fall because they still require a Energy Performance Certificate no matter what price they sell for!

Commercial Energy Performance Certificates

Air Conditioning Inspections

Reports suggest that air conditioning could increase a buildings energy consumption and carbon emissions by up to 100%. For this reason, as part of a European Directive, leislation was passed in January 2009 stating that all air conditioning systems over 250kW must have regular inspections, the first being no later than January 2011.
